The mission of MPO is to provide leadership and promote regional mobility, encourage a positive investment climate and foster sustainable development sensitive to community and natural resources.
Mr. Scott will discuss the MPO’s plans to improve traffic flow in Lee County.
BUPAC meets at the Edison Restaurant located in the Fort Myers Country Club, 3591 McGregor Blvd, Ft. Myers.

Don Scott serves as the Executive Director of the Lee County Metropolitan Planning Organization. He is responsible for managing and overseeing a variety of short and long range transportation plans and projects to improve mobility in Lee County.
Don has over 33 years of transportation planning experience working in the public and private sectors. Prior to joining the Lee County MPO, his experience included working for Collier County, PBS&J and FDOT in Tampa and Fort Myers. Don is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts and is member of the American Institute of Certified Planners.
