Ms. Ware is a Fort Myers native and a graduate of
local public schools; she holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Management from FGCU. Amber has 23 years of service with the city. She played a pivotal role in securing $55m in state revolving funds for critical utility improvements investments that helped spark revitalization of the Downtown River District. Her project coordination experience includes expansion of Veronica Shoemaker Blvd and SR 82, Phase III & Phase IV utility upgrades, development of the Billy Bowlegs Sports Complex, and sidewalk expansions through Safe Routes to School. For the past seven years, Amber has served as Division Manager of the STARS Complex. Her top three priorities for the city are transparent government, economic development, and reducing wasteful spending.
